The Golden Balls player of the month award for the month of October 2004 goes to new third XI rising star Danny Patrick. Danny marked his debut in midfield for the third XI by scoring in the 3 - 3 draw against then table toppers Shirley Athletic. He followed this up with a two goal haul in the 5 - 3 win against Silhill and then played a part in the impressive 3 - 1 win at Malremo Rangers. His greatest achievement during this month however, was to stop goal machine Paul Tudor from scoring in a game in training. Keep it going Danny. |

The winner of the Kermit's Muppet of the Month award for the month of October 2004 has to be Club President Dave Pointon. Linking up with two of his teaching friends, Dave could only manage a last place finish in the Old Wulfrunians Quiz. As if that wasn't bad enough in itself, his team actually managed to finish behind a team consisting of Jon Hart and Kristen 'Naka' Cooper. Never has this award been more deserved. |

The Jack Attack manager of the month award for the month of October 2004 goes to third XI manager Dave Grififiths. During this month Dave has masterminded the third XI to three wins and a draw as they rose from bottom three to second in the table. Considering the incredibly difficult start to the season the third XI endured, with major selection problems and no base to build the squad around, Dave has done a remarkable job to not only turn around the fortunes of the team, but also build solid foundations that will serve the team well throughout the season. |
